Robert D. Marple, CPA

Bob Jr. is a graduate of the University of Arizona with over 25 years of experience in the practice of public accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Washington State Society of Certified Public Accountants.

His practice consists primarily of individual and business income tax planning, individual and business tax return preparation, personal financial planning, estate tax services, and technology consulting.

In addition to his practice focus, Bob Jr. is an avid user of technology and directs firm use and implementation of new technology. New firm technologies currently being used include digital document imaging and storage and voice recognition software among others.

Bob Jr. has been involved in many community groups and organizations. He is a past president of the Kennewick Kiwanis Club, Benton Franklin Chapter of the American Cancer Society, Planned Giving Council of Eastern Washington, and Benton Franklin Humane Society. He has also provided volunteer services for the United Way, Boy Scouts of America – Blue Mountain Council, Mid-Columbia Library Association, and Benton Franklin Legal Aid Society.

Bob’s family consists of wife Sue Anne, stepson twins Justin and Brandon and daughter Katie Anne. Justin is currently working in the Tri-Cities while Brandon is a graduate of Central Washington State University with a degree in aviation. Brandon has recently joined the Navy. Katie Anne is currently in grade school and playing the piano and cello.

Personal interests include family activities, listening to music, playing the piano, photography, astronomy, reading (many topics), and playing cards with his poker buddies.
